Pages have slight foxing, tanning and minor thumbing. Foxing more noticeable towards the start and end of the book. Previous owner's inscription to front endpaper. A few dog-eared corners. Faint creases to some pages. Hinges are slightly cracked with exposed netting, however text block remains firm. Boards have heavy edge wear, with intense bumping and fraying to corners, while spine ends are very crushed and frayed. Scratched, rubbed and marked overall. Water stains and mottling front and rear. Gilt is bright.
