Pages are moderately tanned and foxed throughout, heavier at end-papers, paste-downs and text-block edges. Plates are bright and clear. Previous owner's inscription to front free end-paper. Some occasional mild cracking to gutters throughout however binding remains reasonably firm but skewed. Boards have heavy edge-wear with bumping to corners, crushing to spine ends, dust marked cloth and rub wear all over. Mild crushing to spine ends. Book has a moderate forward lean. Gilt lettering is darkened.
