Front endpaper signed and dedicated by translator James Wiles (name of recipients unclear). Inscribed 'in tribute to the sufferings, the heroisms and the achievements of the Yugoslav people'. Black and white photographic plates within, all present. Pages are lightly tanned and thumbed at the edges, with mild foxing throughout. Binding has remained firm. Slight stain to front endpaper. Boards are a little rub worn with slight shelf wear to corners, spine and edges. Corners are a little bumped and slightly frayed. Spine ends are mildly crushed. Slight tanning to spine and edges. Book has a slight forward lean. Slight water marks to lower front board and foot of spine. Slight pale rub marks to rear. Small frayed dent to upper rear board. Gilt is bright.
