1936. First Edition. 248 pages. Green jacket over orange cloth. Preface by the Earl of Selborne. Pages have slight foxing, tanning and minor thumbing. Endpapers have strips of tanning caused by jacket. Foxing more noticeable towards the start and end of the book. Pencil inscriptions to front pastedown. Bookseller's sticker to front pastedown. Boards have some moderate edge wear, with slight bumping to corners and minor bumping to spine ends. Unclipped jacket has some edgewear with chips, tears and creasing. Jacket is slightly rubbed and marked overall. Spine is noticeably sunned. A ring mark to front.
