Former owner's stamp to front paste-down, with an inscription to free endpaper. Binding is slightly loose. Occasional thumb-marking present throughout, with water mark and a few small nicks along text block edge. Boards have heavy shelf-wear with notable bumping to corners, crushing to spine ends and considerate rub wear to surfaces. Book has a very pronounced forward lean and slight bow. Heavy tanning to spine and edges, with fraying to joint. Water drops down spine.
