Pages are bright with light tanning and foxing to free endpapers and text block edges. Pencil inscription to front free endpaper and paste-down, with a few small nicks and creases along text block edge. Heavy cracking to gutters with exposed netting. Binding is quite loose. Occasional thumb-marking present throughout. Former owner's inscription to half title page. Boards have moderate shelf-wear with noticeable bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Heavy tanning to spine and edges, with visible crushing to spine ends. Book has a pronounced forward lean. Front and rear boards are notably mottled with mould. Ink drops down spine, with a small dent to rear board.
