Pages are lightly tanned with moderate foxing to endpapers and text block edges. Tape on hinges, with dark rubbing, ink scribbles and a few small nicks along text block edge. Mild cracking to hinges, with exposed netting. Binding remains firm. Occasional grey thumb-marking present throughout. Minor dog-eared corners. Notable foxing to pages 240-241. Boards have moderate shelf-wear with notable bumping and fraying to corners, and pale rubbing to surfaces. Moderate tanning to spine, with visible fraying and crushing to spine ends. Small split to lower joint with exposed netting. Pale liquid drops to front and rear boards. Gilt lettering is bright and clear.
