Pages are moderately tanned and foxed throughout, heavier at end-papers, paste-downs and text-block edges. Front free end paper creased. Several chipped pages, some tape repaired. Binding remains firm. Boards have heavy edge-wear with bumping to corners, crushing to spine ends and rub wear all over. Loss to leather. Split to spine joints. Mild crushing to spine ends. Gilt lettering is bright and clear. Cloth has minor damp and dust stains.
