Previous owner's inscription to front free end-paper. Some occasional mild cracking to gutters throughout, binding is shaky. Hinges are cracked with exposed netting. Boards have moderate edge-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Book has a slight forward lean. Moderate tanning to spine. Gilt lettering is darkened. Moderate crushing to spine ends, with splitting, fraying and loss to the head, tail and joints.
