Pages are lightly tanned with mild foxing to endpapers and text block edges. Notable water staining to hinges and rear paste-down. Pencil inscription to front free endpaper and paste-down, with a few small nicks and rub marks along text block edge. Occasional thumb-marking present throughout. Former owner's inscription to half title page. Boards have moderate shelf-wear with mild bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Heavy tanning to spine, with visible crushing and fraying to spine ends. Book has a slight forward lean.
