1954. No Edition Remarks. 604 pages. Bordered dust jacket over red cloth. Contains black and white photographic plates. Jacket is almost split in half. Pages are bright with light tanning and foxing to free endpapers and text block edges. Pencil inscription to front free endpaper, with retail sticker to paste-down. Cracking to gutters with exposed netting. Binding remains firm. Minor dog-eared corners, with a few small nicks along text block edge. Boards have light shelf-wear with slight corner bumping and crushing to spine ends. Book has a notable forward lean. Unclipped jacket has heavy surface wear, with some areas of loss, heavy tears, chips and creasing to spine ends, edges and corners. Jacket is almost split in half at spine. Moderately tanned with water drops on front and rear panels.
