A Thought-Reader's Thoughts: Being the Impressions and Confessions Summary

A Thought-Reader's Thoughts: Being the Impressions and Confessions by Stuart Cumberland

1888. First Edition. 326 pages. No dust jacket. This is an ex-Library book. Blue cloth with decorations. Ex-Library copy, with expected inserts, stamps and inscriptions. Black and white photographic frontispiece. Publisher's catalogue to rear. Severe cracking to hinges and gutters causing boards and pages to be loose. Rough-cut pages have light tanning and foxing throughout. Dust marks to edges with occasional thumb-marks and small stains. Text still legible. Minor dog-eared corners. Front free endpaper removed. Small pen underlining to page 28. Boards have heavy shelf-wear with bumping to corners, crushing to spine ends and rub wear all over. Visible tanning to spine and edges with splits to spine ends causing cloth to be frayed. Heavy rubbing with faint water staining and markings overall. Gilt lettering is darkened. Book is slightly bowed and forward leaning.
