Previous owner's inscription to front free end-paper. Cracking to gutters, no damage to end papers. Some occasional mild cracking to gutters throughout, binding remains reasonably firm. Boards have heavy edge-wear with bumping to corners, crushing to spine ends and rub wear all over. Splits to head of spine. Gilt lettering is darkened. Moderate tanning to spine. Remains of paper cover stuck to boards.
