Pages are lightly tanned with mild foxing throughout. Mild thumb-marking present. Tear to gutter means several mildly loose pages. Mild cracking to gutters with exposed netting. Moderate tear to p.27-30 which obscures some text. All plates are stuck down only at the top edge. Previous owner's inscription to front paste down and pencil to front end paper and some mildly throughout. Moderate tanning and foxing to front end papers. Boards have heavy shelf-wear with bumping to corners, crushing to spine ends and rub wear all over. Scratching, pen and other marks to boards. Moderate tanning to spine.
