1949. Fifth Revised Edition. 338 pages. No dust jacket. Blue cloth with gilt lettering. Black and white illustrations throughout. Minor foxing and noticeable tanning to pages. More prominent to text block edges, pastedowns and free endpapers. Light cracking, creasing and staining to gutters but binding remains firm. Pen inscription to front free endpaper. Boards have minor corner bumping and edgewear with mild staining, tanning and scuffing overall. Spine has lighter tanning with soft crushing to ends. Book has a slight forward lean. Lettering remains bright and clear.
