Pages have mild tanning and foxing throughout, moderate at end-papers, paste-downs and heavier at text-block edges. Binding remains firm. Boards have mild edge-wear with slight rubbing to surfaces. Gilt lettering is bright and clear. Mild crushing to spine ends. Book has a slight forward lean. Unclipped jacket has heavy edge-wear with some areas of loss, heavy tears, chips and creasing. Front flap detached.
