1957. First Edition. 279 pages. Black and white dust jacket over orange cloth with a photographic black and white frontis and plates throughout. Minor tanning to pages with heavier foxing and tanning to pastedowns and endpapers. Pencil inscriptions to front endpaper and visible foxing to text block edges. Rear hinge is cracked with exposed netting. Boards have visible rubbing and ink marks with noticeable bumping to corners. Soft crushing to spine ends and book is forward leaning. Unclipped jacket with major edge wear and rubbing. Splitting to joints and area of loss to spine. There is visible tearing to corners, edges and spine ends and heavy foxing to interior.
