Michael Connelly has been President of the Mystery Writers of America. His books have been translated into 31 languages and have won awards all over the world, including the Edgar and Anthony Awards. He lives in Tampa, Florida, with his family. American actor Dick Hill has received three nominations for best audio book, a reflection of his character-driven style, which he credits to a lifetime of observing people. He is also the reader of Trunk Music and Blood Work.
