Barry Cushway is an independent HR consultant and Personnel Advisor to the IoD. With over 30 years' HR and employment law experience, he has previously worked for Price Waterhouse, Hay and MSL. He is the author and Executive Editor of Gee's best-selling loose-leaf work, Essential Facts: Employment and numerous other titles including The Handbook of Model Job Descriptions and Human Resource Management (Kogan Page). He is a Fellow of both the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators and the Institute of Personnel and Development.
