Sleaze is a new Channel 4 series in which politicians, lobbyists and journalists spill the beans on their contemporaries about the major scandals of the eighties and nineties.Investigating the MP's private lives as well as their public lives this will have an added dimension that other books have not had access to. It will also consider party funding and what MP's are paid for through the most notorious stories including the Hamilton 'cash for questions' affair.Based wholly on recorded testimonies this will be a no-holds-barred expose of the British government under both Conservative and Labour leadership, and will have a contemporary relavance in 1999.
