We follow the true story of Kitty, daughter of an Irish immigrant family in Liverpool. Her hopes, dreams and disappointments. She is kept going by her strong faith as she cares for her family of six daughters and one son through good times and bad. We meet the different characters that make up the next generation and see how their lives are affected by their personalities.
