Pamela Allen is a phenomenon in the world of children's books, producing twenty three picture books in eighteen years. She has won many awards in Australia and New Zealand and was the first person to win the Australian Picture Book of the Year Award two years running - for Who Sank the Boat and Bertie the Bear. Pamela was born in New Zealand and now lives in Australia.
