Copycub and his mother wake up from their long winter sleep, and Copycub runs off to play. His favourite game is hide and seek, but wherever he hides his mother can always find him. Then one day he finds the perfect hiding place - Can't find here, he calls. His mother doesn't reply. Copycub soon feels lost and frightened, and doesn't know what to do. But his mother eventually finds him, and Copycub is soon tucked up safe and warm in bed.

RICHARD EDWARDS was born in Tonbridge, Kent, and has since lived in Italy, France and Spain. He has written over 20 picturebooks and books of poetry for children. SUSAN WINTER was born in South Africa and graduated from Natal University before becoming a social worker, first in South Africa and later in London.
