WILLIAM TYDEMAN is Professor of English at the University of Wales, Bangor. Among the works he has edited are Plays by Tom Roberston (1982), the Casebook on Oscar Wilde's comedies (1982) and Two Tudor Tragedies (for Penguin Classics) in 1992.
